I was born and raised in Winkler, Manitoba and moved with his family to Winnipeg where I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba. My work has been in a variety of areas including 8 years in the Ford automotive business, 18 years in the Ford New Holland Versatile farm equipment business, 5 years as a Saskatchewan Liquor Inspector, and 9 ½ years with Lutheran Foundation Canada as the Central District Gift Coordinator. My wife Joan and I have been married for 46 years and truly enjoy the time spent with my children and four grandchildren (all live in Saskatchewan). We are retired; even so, I have a full and meaningful life as I am engaged with Eden Care Communities (ECC) as chair of the long range planning committee, and I am the ECC board representative to the Provincial Affiliate Resource Group (PARG). As a member of PARG, Brian serves on a special committee formed to work on a new Principles and Services Agreement. I also volunteer, mentor and facilitate with numerous organizations in Regina including First Baptist Church, Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, and Regina Youth For Christ. This year I helped to facilitate two sessions at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Saskatoon in the area of wills and estate planning, and a co-presentation with son, Michael, on gift planning options, which included basic tax information. In the fall I can be found in a grain truck helping my son Adam with the fall harvest. I never know where the Lord may next call me but am ready to serve.
