Maxine Holm

I grew up in British Columbia and moved to Estevan after I married Roy. After 18 years in Estevan, we moved to Regina in 1978. I was a stay at home Mom while my children were growing up.For 23 years I was an administrative assistant in the Lutheran Church-Canada (LCC) Central District Office in Regina. When I retired, I remained active as the editor of the Central District Section, The Canadian Lutheran, until December 2002. Up until the spring of 2013 I held the position as the LCC Central District Archivist with involvement in Saskatchewan Council for Archives and Archivists and LCC Committee on Cultural Properties and Archives. With this AGM I finished my second three year term on the board of the Eden Care Communities.
Family and church life have always been the main focus of my activities. I am Mom to five, Grandma to seven and Great-Grandma to five. Throughout the years I have been active in youth, choir, a Sunday school teacher, bible study leader, choir director/singing, in ladies groups, office volunteer, lighthouse ministry. My other favorite activities are gardening, tennis, Schwann Centre, reading, bridge and travel.
